About us

College of the North Atlantic (CNA) is Newfoundland and Labrador’s (NL) public college – one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history dating back over 55 years. Today, College of the North Atlantic has 17 campus locations, which include facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador; thousands of students studying at various partner universities in China; and, a technical education college for the State of Qatar in the Middle East. In NL, CNA has over 100 full-time program offerings for approximately 9,000 students each year.

CNA continues to have the lowest tuition fees of any post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada. Why College of the North Atlantic

Campus: The Seal Cove campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the southern shore of Conception Bay on the Avalon Peninsula. Seal Cove is the largest single site for advanced level trades training in the province and is the exclusive location for advanced level training in the Instrumentation and Control Technician, and Powerline Technician programs.

Hands-on experience: Many of College of the North Atlantic's programs offer field opportunities where students can apply what they've learned in the classroom to the community.
