Since merging with CQ TAFE on 1 July 2014, CQUniversity has become a more comprehensive university. Researchers from CQUniversity contribute to this community by providing developmental research for industry and monitoring the environmental health of the Gladstone area, including the waters of Gladstone harbour and the Rodds Bay dugong sanctuary.
