Why BCIT - Downtown

Campus: Located at the heart of Vancouver’s business and tech core, the Downtown Campus is home to the state-of-the-art Technology Education and Collaboration (TEC) Hub, an innovative IT learning space.

Quality: Here are some of the reasons choose to learn and train at BCIT: 98% of BCIT degree graduates are employed; get an applied education from industry leaders and instructors who are experts in their fields; small class sizes mean students get more one-on-one attention from their instructors and better opportunities to network with the students in their program; part-time studies gives students the option to upgrade their skills or retrain for an entirely new career on evenings or weekends; some BCIT programs allow students to build their education in stages—shortening their overall classroom time and getting students into their career more quickly; curriculum is developed through close consultation with industry, ensuring students are ready to hit-the-ground-running the day they graduate; BCIT has some of the best training facilities around—including a 300,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Aerospace Technology Campus; a broadcast & media studio; and a forensics lab; the Downtown Campus features the TEC Hub, an innovative and collaborative IT learning space in the heart of the Vancouver downtown tech corridor; choose from over 300 programs and join a cohort of over 190,000 BCIT alumni working across BC and around the world
