University Canada West (UCW) is a British Columbia-based private university. David F. Strong, the former president of the University of Victoria, founded it in 2005. UCW was purchased by the Eminata Group in 2008 and then sold to Global University Systems in 2014. The university, which is located in downtown Vancouver, offers undergraduate and graduate business and management studies.

It was designed to serve British Columbian students who had been turned down by public colleges in the province, as well as the Asian Pacific market, with a projected enrollment of 3000 students. The British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training has accredited the university, which has the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) certification under the 2003 Degree Authorization Act. 

The British Columbia Council on Admission and Transfer is also a member of the university. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs accredited the university's bachelor and postgraduate business degrees in 2017. (ACBSP).

UCW offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, and an MBA as of 2019. This university offers full-time on-campus or part-time online study options for these degrees. It also offers an Associate of Arts degree.
