About us

Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Iles is a public post-secondary level institution located at the eastern tip of Québec, Canada, the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles is a bilingual (French and English) public institution of higher learning with a student population of about 1,250.

The slogan at Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles, "Study in a unique natural environment", was chosen because the location of its campus in a remote region which allows students to enjoy an exceptional natural setting. Indeed, according to the National Geographic magazine, our region is one of the top 20 destinations to visit in the world.
