College of the North Atlantic (CNA) is Newfoundland and Labrador’s (NL) public college – one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history dating back over 55 years. Today, College of the North Atlantic has 17 campus locations, which include facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador; thousands of students studying at various partner universities in China; and, a technical education college for the State of Qatar in the Middle East. In NL, CNA has over 100 full-time program offerings for approximately 9,000 students each year.
CNA continues to have the lowest tuition fees of any post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada. Campus: The Bonavista campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland in Bonavista Bay. The historic and scenic community is home to approximately 4,000 residents.
Facilities: Bonavista campus is unique with respect to the provincial education scene, as it is linked with the local high school, Discovery Collegiate. There is a skywalk connecting the two buildings.
Hands-on experience: Many of College of the North Atlantic's programs offer field opportunities where students can apply what they've learned in the classroom to the community.
