College of the North Atlantic (CNA) is Newfoundland and Labrador’s (NL) public college – one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history dating back over 55 years. Today, College of the North Atlantic has 17 campus locations, which include facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador; thousands of students studying at various partner universities in China; and, a technical education college for the State of Qatar in the Middle East. In NL, CNA has over 100 full-time program offerings for approximately 9,000 students each year.

Campus: The Port aux Basques campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in the Southwest corner of the island, a historically rich community of approximately 4,000 residents. The Town of Channel-Port aux Basques is the Gateway to the Island of Newfoundland and is connected to mainland Canada via the Marine Atlantic Ferry Service. Port aux Basques campus has dedicated itself to providing the highest quality of training and academic upgrading to the residents and businesses of the area.
