About us

Welcome to the Concordia University’s Centre for Continuing Education (CCE)! CCE is located in Montreal which has been ranked #1 city in the world for students by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). Montreal is a safe, affordable place with culturally diverse population that speaks both English and French. It is also an art-oriented city, alive with creative energy, named a UNESCO City of Design. The CCE is the non-credit credit department of Concordia University situated on the SGW campus. The CCE delivers high-quality adult-education instruction by innovators in the different disciplines. Through the CCE, we support Concordia University in its mission to serve the community and provide a hub for lifelong learning. For more than four decades, CCE has contributed to the educational and personal success of thousands of students from across the globe. CCE embraces the global student mobility phenomenon as it strongly believes that the presence of students coming from various countries with different backgrounds, cultures and linguistic groups only contributes to the excellence, opportunities and quality of life to its students, faculty and staff. While studying at CCE, you will experience the four Canadian seasons: a visit to National capital Ottawa to experience the Spring Tulip Festival; travel back in time in the Summer months to Upper Canada Village in historic Kingston, Ontario; take in the majestic Fall colors in world famous Mont Tremblant; go snow tubing in the Laurentian mountains and attend a Concordia hockey game.

CCE's Intensive English Language Program is a pioneer in the teaching of English for Academic Purposes (EAP). For over four decades students have attended our program prior to beginning their academic careers at North American universities. Whether students are looking to enter undergraduate or graduate studies, our program will help them learn English very quickly along with critical skills and strategies to successfully prepare for the challenges of university.

We put our students at the heart of everything we do. We want to ensure that our students have a study abroad experience that is personally and academically enriching. Concordia provides a number of services to ensure students are well supported during their studies with us, such as, Concordia Health Centre, Le Gym, Academic Advisement, Student Success Centre, LIVE Volunteer Centre, Student Mentors, Orientations to New Students and an International Students' Office, among others.
