Since its inception in 1969, Holland College has been committed to providing the best quality programs and services to its clients. Since opening its doors in September of that year, it has grown from 102 students to approximately 2500, including 250 international students, spread across its five campuses. Each year, Holland College welcomes students from a broad range of ages and education backgrounds to college centres across Prince Edward Island. The Prince of Wales campus is the college's main campus. It is home to the Charlottetown Centre, the Centre for Community Engagement, the School of Performing Arts, the Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST), and two apartment-style residences. The Tourism and Culinary Centre, home of the Culinary Institute of Canada, is located nearby to the Prince of Wales campus on the Charlottetown waterfront.
