In 1970, Langara College opened its 49th Avenue campus and invited the community to make the College their first choice for accessible, quality education. Four decades later, Langara College is recognized as a leading undergraduate institution with a reputation for providing exceptional learning opportunities. Through the collective contributions of its outstanding faculty and staff, its programs and services continue to grow and innovate to meet the changing needs of the community. Langara College is a government-funded institution that provides university, career, and continuing studies to over 23,000 students every year, including over 6,000 international students from more than 80 countries. International students will benefit from a wealth of choice when it comes to planning their education with us, including a variety of bachelor’s degree, associate degree, diploma, post-degree diploma, and certificate programs.
