About us

New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is a provincially-recognized, public post-secondary institution situated in New Brunswick, Canada. The college offers students a variety of different programs across their six campuses. Students learn in a dynamic environment through hands-on training, state-of-the-art equipment and real-world experiences. With more than 90 programs, NBCC provides a wide range of learning opportunities that prepares students to step into the workplace with expertise and confidence.

NBCC Fredericton is located on the University of New Brunswick campus. This new building has a capacity of 400 seats with programs in the following areas: Business, Health, Engineering, Information Technology and Social Service. NBCC has worked closely with local businesses in the selection and design of programs for this campus, and expects to continue the strong success rates for graduates finding employment in their related fields of training.

Campus Life: The active Student Representative Council and student activities coordinator ensure students' NBCC experience is more than just books and classes. Students are active members of the community, donating to food shelters and organizing exciting events throughout the year.

Hands-on Learning: Most of the programs include a work practicum. Students will take what they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to the real world before graduation.

Pathway Options: Why choose between college and university? NBCC has multiple pathways that allow students to do a 2+2 study option, which means their two-year NBCC diploma can be credited for up to two years of a four-year university degree, making for a seamless transition from college to university.

Wide Range of Programs and Courses: With over 90 programs to choose from, students can work on a construction site, in an office, in a lab or in the great outdoors. The choice is theirs!
