Founded in 1913, Olds College has been offering quality hands-on education for over a century. Olds College is a distinct, provincially focused institution that supports the teaching and learning of all Albertans. Through regular programming, continued education, and online and blended programming, Olds College provides accessible educational opportunities within Alberta and beyond. Olds College promotes passion about the Agriculture industry. Through applied research and integrated learning, Olds College is proud to be Canada’s Smart Agriculture College, specializing in agriculture, horticulture, land and environmental stewardship, working closely with industry to advance and adapt programming to ensure graduates have the skills to succeed.
While students will sit in classrooms, some of the best hands-on learning is done in nature or in one of Olds College's state-of-the-art simulation, computer and science labs. Olds College has played a leadership role in applied research activity aimed at advancing innovation-based rural economic development in Alberta. The average class has 25 students, so that students can get to know their classmates and professors in a personalised learning environment.

Campus Life and Surrounding: The main campus is located in Olds, Alberta, a scenic small town surrounded by wide open prairies with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains to the west. Calgary is less than an hour to the south and Red Deer is just 40 minutes north. On the scenic campus, students can enjoy 25 acres of botanic gardens and constructed wetlands, and some unique shopping experiences that support the students and programs.
Facilities: A wide range of recreation opportunities are offered to students through the CLC Fitness Centre located on campus. The centre features three gymnasiums, racquetball/squash court, 200-metre running track and workout equipment. Olds College's farm is a state-of-the-art operation, that allows students the opportunity to take part in activities that every cattle rancher must know how to do. It also is a site to many innovative and practical research projects involving industry partners, private and public researchers.
International Student Services: Olds College understands that coming to a new school in a new country is an exciting opportunity, but one that comes with some challenges.
