Why Ontario Tech University - Downtown Oshawa

Campus: Ontario Tech University - Downtown Oshawa is located in downtown Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, less than an hour outside of downtown Toronto. OTU - Downtown Oshawa is home to OTU's Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. OTU cultivates a dynamic learning environment for students by promoting social engagement, fostering critical thinking and integrating experiences inside and outside the classroom.

Facilities: OTU - Downtown Oshawa has multiple buildings that are centrally located. These buildings house a Student Life office, a library dedicated to the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, and other common areas for students and faculty.

Research: OTU has a mission to conduct research that creates knowledge, solves problems, results in economic and social innovation and engages students. Professors and students undertake research in a wide range of areas that include automotive design and engineering, business and information technology, computational science, alternative and sustainable energy, nuclear engineering, law enforcement, manufacturing, community/public health, to name just a few.
