Why Selkirk College

Location: Selkirk College is located in the Kootenays, a spectacular region of rivers, lakes, waterfalls, beaches, mineral hot springs, alpine meadows and snow-capped mountains that are home to four of British Columbia's seven national parks.

Campus: Selkirk College is large enough to provide quality student services and facilities, yet small enough to offer individual support, small class sizes and an extra dose of attention not found in most post-secondary institutions. Instructors are more than teachers, they are experts in their fields who have relevant real-world experience to share with students.

Support: Through support from employer advisory committees, exciting co-op education options and an outstanding B.C. post-secondary transfer system, student access to achieving goals is limitless. Also, affordable tuition and student awards at Selkirk College make post-secondary education accessible.

Extracurricular Activities: There are many different ways to get involved at the College, whether that be through student leadership or student clubs and student-led activities such as the Environment Club or Acro Yoga!
