About us

Seneca College offers more than an education. With campuses throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Seneca’s size and diversity give students the advantage of partnerships with industry leaders, the latest in hands-on computer technology, a variety of class sizes, and full-time, part-time and continuing education options. Education should be flexible and accessible, so Seneca also employs various methods of teaching – from in-class lectures and online learning to co-op and field placements – in programs related to applied arts, business, financial services and technology.

Located near Markham’s central business district, the Seneca International Academy offers select full-time programs for international students in the areas of business, finance and information technology. At the Seneca International Academy (SIA), students will obtain a world-class education from Seneca that is recognized by employers around the globe. Their studies will be centred in a multicultural community of international students. Together, students will be guided by Seneca’s expert faculty who bring years of industry experience to the classroom.

International students at SIA will have full access to Seneca’s range of support services, including comprehensive, ongoing English language education designed to prepare students for professional success in the workforce.

Services: A student's transition to life at Seneca is made as easy as possible with International Student Services which includes free airport pickup, housing/accommodation assistance, orientation, academic advisors, counselling, free English assistance and peer tutoring, and international student clubs.

Real-world experience: Seneca believes in creating great student experiences that provide enriching learning opportunities — both inside and outside of the classroom. This includes immersing oneself in the workplace as part of a work term or field placement or expanding one's skillset by studying abroad. These enriching experiences will give students an edge when they enter the workforce or pursue further studies.

Location: All of Seneca's campuses are located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Toronto is the largest city in Canada and one of the world's most multi-cultural cities with over 70 ethnic groups and more than 140 spoken languages and dialects. Participate in group activities to the GTA's many attractions like the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Casa Loma castle, the Ontario Science Centre, the Toronto Zoo, The Art Gallery, and the Royal Ontarion Museum. Students can also partake in ice skating, go-karting, movie nights, shopping, skiing, bowling, international days and more.
